About the position

GovCIO is seeking a Database Analyst III to join their team remotely. This role involves reviewing, designing, implementing, and maintaining company databases, as well as writing code for database access and modifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database analytics and the ability to lead and direct the work of others, contributing to the transformation of government IT services.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]
• Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process
• Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks
• May lead and direct the work of others

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years of database analytics experience (or commensurate experience)
• Ability to maintain a public trust clearance
