About the position

The FIS University Program is a two-year full-time initiative designed for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in the fintech industry. Participants will engage in team projects, community service, and professional development, while receiving mentorship and performance feedback from managers. The program includes a dedicated learning week and offers opportunities to network with senior leaders and peers across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with data analytics projects
• Communicating with internal clients (written and verbal)
• Assisting senior developers with project documentation
• Maintaining Power BI workspaces: adding users, reviewing subscriptions, performing break/fix and production support
• Refreshing reports in Excel on a day-to-day basis
• Designing SQL queries and working with SQL databases
• Automating SQL queries and monitoring SQL jobs
• Updating/modifying/maintaining SQL tables and views
• Performing lite Power BI development
• Helping the team stay organized using JIRA, SharePoint, and Teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptability and a drive to learn
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well independently and within a team

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of SQL databases and basic query writing
• Experience with Power BI or other Microsoft BI tools
• Experience with Power Automate
• Experience with Visual Studio
• Experience with Angular
• Experience with Excel, particularly formulas and pivot tables
• Experience working with SharePoint form design
