About the position

The University of Miami is seeking an Intermediate Database Analyst to monitor and maintain existing medical databases, troubleshoot user issues, and design new databases. Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain existing medical databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues.
• Design, install, and configure new medical databases (MySQL/Maria DB, MS SQL, Oracle).
• Provide and modify user access to databases.
• Perform data loads, database restoring, and other migrations.
• Create and maintain documentation of database server inventory and standard operating procedures.
• Improve skills in database administration by working with Sr. DBA and self-learning through various resources.
• Perform other related duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics or Database Administration, including hands-on experience.
