About the position

The Database Analyst Lead will play a crucial role in supporting the US Navy's Team Submarine contract, focusing on the acquisition and management of submarines. This position involves overseeing contract management support, ensuring quality control, and leading a team of data entry personnel. The role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage data effectively to support military defense and the safety of sailors.

Responsibilities

• Be the single point of contact on all contract management support related issues, including required reports and presentations responsible for quality control and timeliness.
• Manage the backup scheme and design data fields.
• Create ad-hoc and defined reports exported to MS Excel and PDF.
• Lead a team of 3 data entry personnel.
• Be the primary customer contact for Commitments Database.
• Provide programmatic support to our NAVSEA customers.
• Work with Team Sub staff to route incoming commitments and update/maintain data used for tracking status of open items.

Requirements

• An Active DOD Secret clearance
• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field
• 7 years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, financial/cost analysis, or a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

• Active NNPI account and CAC
• Knowledge of PMS450
• Knowledge of FBW SCS
• Experience with Access databases
• Experience with Navy acquisition and Submarine Programs
• Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer
• Knowledge of Program Management, including the acquisition process, the budgeting process and Navy program execution
• Active Duty Experience in the submarine service preferred
• Recent experience in Team Submarine would be ideal.
