About the position
This position is a W2 contractual opportunity focused on designing, modeling, developing, and supporting Database Management Systems (DBMS). The role involves analyzing data requirements and application architectures, as well as developing and optimizing database schema designs to meet system requirements. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring data credibility and relevance through thorough analysis and normalization of information related to business processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, model, develop, and support Database Management Systems (DBMS).
- Analyze data requirements and application processing architectures.
- Develop and optimize database schema designs to meet system requirements.
- Gather, analyze, and normalize relevant information from business processes.
- Develop database and warehousing designs across multiple platforms.
- Create an overall data architecture that supports business information needs.
Requirements
- Heavy SQL experience with the ability to query data and validate it.
- Proficiency in Tableau, including reading, writing, and rewriting dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with Smartsheet for quick dashboard builds.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically at least 8+ years of IT work experience in DBA, DBMS design, and support.
