As a Database Analyst - Technical Targeting at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights for our clients. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to deliver technical solutions to complex problems. You will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements and applying your knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and API (Application Programming Interface) for data services. In this role, you will design, develop, and administer database management systems, focusing on database modeling, relational database architecture, and metadata management. You will also be tasked with implementing databases that consider access methods, validation checks, and security measures. Your responsibilities will include preparing system requirements, conducting source analysis, and ensuring thorough documentation throughout the database implementation process. Additionally, you may provide guidance to less-experienced professionals and potentially serve as a team lead. To succeed in this position, you will need a minimum of three years of related experience, with at least one year of customer-specific experience. Strong analytical, research, and investigative skills are essential, along with the ability to deliver clear and concise briefings. Experience in intelligence operations and the ability to identify targeting leads through the use of all-source databases will be highly beneficial. This position requires a Top Secret SCI clearance with a polygraph, and candidates must be willing to obtain this clearance if not already held.
