Responsibilities

  • Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
  • Applies knowledge of API (Application Programing Interface) for data services and databases.
  • Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, installs and administers database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management.
  • Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
  • Prepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation.
  • Defines database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task lead.

Requirements

  • Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • 5+ years of related experience with 3+ years of customer specific experience is required
  • Ability to identify and assess the right entities and the right vulnerabilities and technology trends to enable new collection operations
  • Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings
  • Strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with ops sense, personal initiative, and some technical expertise
  • Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations desired.
  • Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases and specialized tools desired.
  • Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices desired.
  • Formal training or certification as a Technical Targeter desired.
  • Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
