About the position

As a Database Analyst - Technical Targeting at General Dynamics Information Technology, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights for clients. This position involves analyzing customer requirements, providing technical solutions, and designing and administering database management systems. Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and provide technical solutions to complex problems.
• Apply knowledge of API for data services and databases.
• Design, develop, build, analyze, evaluate, install, and administer database management systems.
• Implement databases considering access methods, access time, batch processes, and security.
• Prepare system requirements, source analysis, and process analyses throughout database implementation.
• Define database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and trends.
• Coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in database analysis and design.
• 3+ years of customer-specific experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to identify and assess entities and vulnerabilities for new collection operations.
• Strong analytic, research, and investigative skills.
• Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations is desired.
• Formal training or certification as a Technical Targeter is preferred.

• Experience identifying targeting leads through all-source databases and specialized tools.
