About the position

GovCIO is seeking a remote Database Analyst V who will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining company databases. This role requires a high level of expertise in database analytics, with responsibilities that include coding for database access and modifications, as well as providing consultation on complex projects. The position is designed for a top-level contributor who can demonstrate creativity and extensive experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]
• Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process
• Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures
• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
• May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of database analytics experience (or commensurate experience)
• Ability to maintain a public trust clearance
