About the position

GovCIO is seeking a remote Database Analyst V who will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining company databases. This role requires a high level of expertise in database analytics and the ability to provide consultation on complex projects. The Database Analyst V will work independently and rely on extensive experience to accomplish goals, contributing significantly to the organization's IT transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company databases.
• Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process.
• Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures.
• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of database analytics experience (or commensurate experience).
• Ability to maintain a public trust clearance.
