About the position

GovCIO is seeking a remote Database Analyst V who will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining company databases. This role requires a high level of expertise in database analytics, with responsibilities that include writing codes for database access and modifications, as well as providing consultation on complex projects. The position is designed for a top-level contributor who can demonstrate creativity and extensive experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]
• Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process
• Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures
• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
• May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of database analytics experience (or commensurate experience)
• Ability to maintain a public trust clearance
