About the position

The Database Analyst position is a contract-to-hire role based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, focusing on the management and analysis of customer databases within a collaborative team environment. The role involves working closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient data processing and integration, particularly in relation to EDI systems and transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and managing customer databases to ensure efficient and accurate processing.
• Collaborating with the EDI team for seamless integration and management of customer data.
• Assisting in the transition of X12 to RAMP to TMS, ensuring smooth data transactions.
• Providing diagnostic and troubleshooting support for customer EDI products and errors.
• Collaborating with the transportation system team for internal workings and process enhancements.
• Utilizing skills in CRM, Database Objects, Database System, DB2 Database, and Microsoft for daily operations.
• Conducting AB Testing and using Backup Technologies to ensure data security and integrity.
• Leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) tools to create dashboards and perform data analysis.
• Utilizing XML and EDI X12 for efficient data management and transactions.
• Adapting to changes and learning new systems as and when the project demands.

Requirements

• Proficient in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
• Experience with Database Objects and Database Systems
• Familiarity with DB2 Database and Microsoft technologies
• Knowledge of AB Testing methodologies
• Understanding of Backup Technologies
• Expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and techniques
• Ability to create dashboards and interpret data
• Proficient in Data Analysis techniques and methodologies
• Experience working with XML and EDI X12
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
