About the position

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain company databases.
• Identify data sources and construct data disposition diagrams.
• Provide data flow diagrams and document processes.
• Write codes for database access, modifications, and constructions, including stored procedures.
• Communicate with data providers to coordinate data delivery and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Experience in a relational database environment with proven knowledge of SQL statement syntax, functions, and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with loading large datasets, preferably close to 1 billion records.
• Knowledge of SQL utilities used to import data files.
• Experience using SQL stored procedures to profile, transform, and load records into a database.
• Ability to modify SQL stored procedures to match current record sets.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
