Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain databases, data warehouses, and models on Azure SQL.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI and DAX.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for BI solutions.
  • Perform and document data analysis, validation, and mapping/design.
  • Develop and execute a reporting and Business Intelligence plan utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data and reporting.
  • Provide technical support, mentorship, and cross-training to team members.
  • Proactively gather information and share ideas.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Certification Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) is required.
  • 4 years of relevant experience as a SQL Server Developer/BI Developer.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field with strong relational database education.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Azure SQL Server.
  • Experience with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
  • Proficient in database modeling and data warehouse design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Proven problem-solving and time-management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of the IBM Db2 database is preferable.
