About the position

The Database and Process Tool Analyst at The Pokémon Company International plays a crucial role in supporting the development of the internal and proprietary Pokémon Trading Card Game database and process tool. This position involves managing shared integrations with the tool and overseeing various data projects that will be included in the database. The analyst will be responsible for creating, managing, and testing Jira tickets, handling user feature requests, and creating bug reports while prioritizing responses. Additionally, the analyst will review the ticket backlog and participate in sprint planning, taking on additional scrum master duties as needed. The role requires interfacing with other teams to resolve bugs and data issues, following up on feature requests and bug reports, and writing release notes for each new release of the database and process tool. The analyst will also update user manuals and other documentation as necessary, and write quarterly functionality and release reports for stakeholders. As a product co-owner and subject matter expert for the database and process tool, the analyst will need to learn and utilize knowledge of the Pokémon Trading Card Game development process to support the tool's development effectively. User provisioning duties for the database and process tool will also be part of the role, along with conducting monthly training classes for new users and hosting discovery sessions with teams on feature requests or complex issues. The analyst will ensure that UX and front-end feature requests are developed appropriately and assist other teams with data issues in the database and process tool while advising on process improvements. Roadmap planning for the database and process tool, working with third-party vendors, and supporting long-term integration projects will also be key responsibilities.
