As a Senior Database Architect at Crimson Phoenix LLC, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and development of databases, database parser software, and database loading software. Your expertise will be crucial in developing database structures that seamlessly integrate into the overall architecture of the systems under development. You will be responsible for developing requirement recommendations from the inception of projects to their conclusion, focusing on both Business and IT subject matter areas, which can range from simple to complex systems. In this role, you will direct the overall database structure, ensuring it aligns with the system architecture while making critical trade-offs among data volumes, user numbers, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security, and domain controls. You will provide technical expertise in database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, and data flow analysis, utilizing various Database Management Systems (DBMS) such as Oracle and PostgreSQL. Your responsibilities will also include developing relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, projecting long-range requirements for database administration and design, and working primarily at the front end of the lifecycle—from requirements gathering through system acceptance testing and Initial Operational Capability (IOC). You will assist in analyzing and evaluating systems improvements, optimization, development, and maintenance efforts, while actively participating in DevSecOps processes and principles throughout all design phases. Additionally, you will be involved in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications, translating requirements and data into usable documents, and updating existing queries while creating new ones to manipulate data effectively.
