Realpage is seeking a highly impactful and resourceful Database Architect to join our Support Technology Solutions team, focusing on SQL Server management and infrastructure support. This role is critical for addressing global infrastructure needs and involves providing database support for SQL Server, utilizing T-SQL skills, performance monitoring, and query optimization. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player with a can-do attitude, capable of working cross-functionally and mentoring others as needed. In this position, you will leverage your experience in database technologies to design schemas, tune queries, and optimize performance while gathering diagnostics. You will develop T-SQL queries and stored procedures, apply your expertise in SQL and database-level performance tuning, and handle cloud-related tasks, including migration and monitoring. Your responsibilities will also include managing large-scale databases using appropriate methodologies, providing insights into changing database utilization requirements, and recommending solutions for improvements. You will analyze and implement database standards in line with company policy, develop database solutions, and implement disaster recovery plans. Additionally, you will analyze database structural requirements for new software and applications, apply your experience with performance tuning, and utilize your expert knowledge of SQL internals and DMVs. This role requires a strong understanding of index design and performance-tuning techniques, as well as the ability to develop scripts for loading test data and performing root cause analysis for problem determination.
