About the position

The Database Architect position at Obsidian Solutions Group involves designing and optimizing enterprise databases and data warehouse systems. The role requires collaboration with a skilled team to implement leading-edge technologies while ensuring database operations adhere to established standards. The architect will be responsible for modeling, designing, and constructing large relational databases, integrating new systems, and enhancing performance and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design strategies for enterprise databases and data warehouse systems.
• Set standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and security.
• Model, design, and construct large relational databases or data warehouses.
• Create and optimize data models for warehouse infrastructure and workflow.
• Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• BS/BA degree
• 8 years of database architecture experience
• 2 years of experience with distance learning and knowledge management related technologies
• 2 years of experience with systems communication systems and networks.
