About the position

The Database Architect position is a part-time, contract role based in New York, NY, focused on advanced data processing and programming using SQL-based technologies. The role involves querying reports, setting up the SSMS database environment, and ensuring data consistency across various data sources. The candidate will be responsible for developing applications, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to documentation related to data processes and projects.

Responsibilities

• Query reports and set the environment for the SSMS database.
• Analyze datasets to ensure data consistency.
• Develop applications with various data services.
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Troubleshoot and remediate data-related issues.
• Contribute to documentation of processes and projects.
• Develop scripts and queries to import, manipulate, clean, and transform data.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in database architecture and management.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a related field.
• Advanced data processing and programming skills using SQL-based technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Experience with programming languages such as .NET.
