About the position

The Database Architect position at Surya Systems is a critical role that requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing and optimizing databases, particularly with InterSystems IRIS and Cache. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance, scalability, and reliability of these databases, ensuring that they meet the demands of a large-scale environment. This role is not just about management; it involves a deep understanding of cloud platforms and the ability to migrate databases effectively to the cloud. The contractor will be expected to demonstrate a strong background in cloud database services, storage solutions, and migration strategies, particularly with platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud.
