About the position

The Database & CRM Manager at Casa Central is responsible for managing the fundraising database (Raiser's Edge) and CRM system. This role focuses on overseeing donor relations, ensuring data governance, and integrating fundraising and communication efforts to support the organization's mission. The manager will lead donor data management, gift processing, and stewardship while collaborating with various departments to optimize database systems.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, manage, and maintain Raiser's Edge to enhance fundraising efforts.
  • Oversee donor database and integrated platforms while training staff and managing data accuracy for complex gifts.
  • Maintain and improve data quality by updating records, coding entries, and ensuring accuracy through regular audits.
  • Establish policies, procedures, and quality control protocols across the organization.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop queries, analyze donor trends, and create reports on campaign performance.
  • Provide insights to guide fundraising and ensure database systems evolve with the organization's needs.
  • Track donor interactions, manage the moves cycle, and support personalized engagement activities to strengthen relationships with donors.
  • Oversee gift processing, acknowledgments, and coordination with Finance to ensure accurate reconciliation of donation data.
  • Manage online giving platforms and provide ongoing training for development staff on Raiser's Edge best practices and updates.

Requirements

  • Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising database systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage data governance and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in donor stewardship and moves management.

  • Familiarity with online giving platforms.
