About the position

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain MS Access front end and SQL Server back end development
• Provide technical support to a team of 32 employees
• Create and manage reports using Microsoft SQL Server and MS Access
• Handle most IT duties, serving as the primary IT resource
• Work closely with a third-party support person handling network administration
• Ensure data sources remain accurate and up-to-date
• Perform a variety of database administration tasks
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the IT function
• Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

Requirements

• Proficient in both MS Access and Microsoft SQL Server
• Demonstrated experience with Data Sources
• Skilled in creating reports
• Ability to provide technical support
• Experience in database administration
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus
• Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is desirable
