About the position

The Database Developer/Administrator at CACI will be responsible for the development, management, and maintenance of program databases, including the transition of existing MS Access databases to PostgreSQL on AWS. This role involves working closely with end users and clients to understand and advise on future database requirements, ensuring support for intelligence and analytical operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain program databases.
• Support enhancement and migration based on client future requirements.
• Maintain and update existing MS Access and PostgreSQL databases.
• Transition MS Access database into RDS PostgreSQL instance on AWS.
• Migrate databases into a cloud environment.
• Develop new database architectures based on operating environment and customer requirements.
• Work directly with end users and clients to advise on future database requirements.

Requirements

• Two years of experience working with the military or IC agency.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Four years of experience designing, building, and maintaining Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS) including MS Access, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or Oracle.
• Two years of experience working with VBA.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Six years of experience with a Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Six years of experience working with MS Access.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC).
• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP, MCSE, MCDBA) certification or equivalent.
