About the position

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer / Architect to join our team, responsible for supporting design engineering through various methodologies. The role involves maintaining and updating the Common Database, monitoring database performance, and working in an Agile environment to deliver efficient solutions. This position requires a Top Secret clearance and offers a hybrid work model with on-site requirements in Colorado Springs, CO or Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

• Support Design Engineering by analyzing and refining requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
• Maintain and update the Common Database and Database Design Description.
• Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for improvements or design of new tables.
• Focus on engineering assessment, pilots, initiatives, modeling, simulation, and systems analysis.
• Work in an Agile environment to deliver solutions efficiently, managing backlog items as sprint or Kanban tasks.

Requirements

• Top Secret Clearance (Secret with interim TS acceptable)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 4 years of experience with databases
• 2 years of experience with SATCOM
• Strong experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, and database design
• Proficiency in Visual Studio
• Ability to work in an Agile environment
