About the position

The Database Developer role at Capgemini involves working with Oracle and SQL Server databases, focusing on ETL processes, data migration, and performance optimization. Responsibilities

  • Write complex SQL & PL/SQL queries
  • Transform native SQL Server queries to Oracle
  • Solve migration code issues in Oracle PL/SQL
  • Perform data migration from one platform to another
  • Understand validation and reconciliation processes during data migrations
  • Apply expert-level understanding of database warehousing and data modeling concepts
  • Optimize performance tuning
  • Design ETL processes
  • Communicate effectively and work independently in client environments
  • Utilize basic knowledge of Python/R
  • Leverage knowledge of cloud platforms like Snowflake and AWS

Requirements

  • 10+ years of database developer experience in Oracle and SQL Server
  • Experience with ETL processes
  • Strong performance optimization skills
  • Experience in data migration
