About the position

The DB2 Developer position is focused on developing and maintaining database solutions using DB2 technology. The role requires extensive experience in SQL and RPG, along with a strong analytical mindset to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment. The developer will work closely with application development teams and be involved in code migration and ensuring compliance with SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain database solutions using DB2.
• Create and optimize SQL stored procedures.
• Work on application development using RDI and ACS on IBM iSeries systems.
• Utilize code migration tools such as Aldon and git.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls during development processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver weekly project milestones.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Database Developer with a focus on DB2.
• Extensive experience with SQL stored procedures and RPG in a DB2 environment.
• Experience with application development using RDI and ACS on IBM iSeries systems.
• Familiarity with code migration tools such as Aldon, git, and SOX controls.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in fast-paced agile environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with conversion from RPG to SQL.
• Proficiency in Python, microservices, and REST API development.
