The Database Developer will play a crucial role in the DWMPMO, which provides program management, engineering, and IT implementation services for the Chicago Department of Water Management and other city departments. This position will involve the effective design and development of enterprise-wide database systems, particularly focusing on GIS Enterprise Geodatabases for the City of Chicago. The successful candidate will leverage the Microsoft SQL Server platform and Esri's ArcGIS Enterprise platform, identifying innovative approaches and solutions in a rapid application development environment. The role requires providing high-quality support for production, test, and development environments by managing, monitoring, and maintaining multiple database servers and databases.
