The successful candidate will join the Worldpay by FIS team, which is focused on building a community of engineers dedicated to developing and commoditizing a catalogue of enterprise-wide consumable products. These products will be scalable and deployable across our global Merchant Cloud & Automation Services (MCAS) architecture. The work you do will help drive our organization towards our strategic principle of 'Cloud First', and our successes will be measured through the continued adoption of our MCAS products and services. Operating within a collaborative SAFe environment, we aim to deliver effective solutions that focus on business value. In this role, you will be responsible for expert PL/SQL development, demonstrating expert SQL skills, and possessing basic DBA skills. A good understanding of partitioning, indexing strategy, and volumetric analysis is essential, along with knowledge of data modeling and ERD. Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting will also be beneficial. This multifaceted job comes with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities.
