About the position

The Database Developer (Mid) position is focused on supporting large-scale data analysis projects by designing and delivering both on-premises and cloud-based applications. The role involves SQL and PL/SQL development, including backend report generation, automation of database management processes, and performance monitoring. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that applications and tools meet mission requirements, and it is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Develop SQL and PL/SQL for backend reports to support user needs.
• Create custom scripts to automate database management processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance.
• Optimize and tune stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and queries.
• Interface with customers, users, and developers as needed.
• Maintain database schema and design.
• Provide technical subject matter expertise on data ingestion from various sources.
• Assume responsibility for quarterly data refresh and deployment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in database development.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Active Top Secret clearance.

• Experience with Vue.js, .NET, Postgres, Oracle DB.
• Experience in maintaining geospatial applications.
• MongoDB DBA experience.
• ElasticSearch geospatial repository development.
• Familiarity with AngularJS, BootstrapVue, Chart.js, CoordinateSharp, D3.js, jQuery, jTable, Leaflet.JS, Microsoft .NET 4.6 Framework, Microsoft .NET 8 Framework, Newtonsoft Json.net, NGA GeoTrans modules, PDFSharp, Telerik, AWS CloudFormation.
