The Database Developer (Oracle/Java) role at Liberty IT Solutions involves developing software to modernize federal healthcare systems. The developer will not only code but also mentor teammates, implement system improvements, and engage in technical writing activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and release Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures.
• Unit test application and stored procedure code.
• Develop, modify, and maintain client/server applications.
• Implement regression testing scripts.
• Document and test release management documentation.
• Support technical writing activities.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in an information technology role.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and releasing Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures.
• 3+ years unit testing of application and stored procedure code.
• 3+ years' experience using Java and Java frameworks (Spring).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies or the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or technical equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Release Management experience.
• Experience supporting the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Update 4+1 and other architecture documents.
