About The Position
The Database Developer position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on the development and optimization of database systems primarily using Oracle and SQL Server technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for modeling databases, ensuring performance optimization, and troubleshooting SQL code. This role requires a deep understanding of relational database modeling and hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, particularly in 11g and 12c environments. The current environment utilizes Oracle 19c, and familiarity with this version is advantageous. In this position, you will analyze user requirements and translate them into database requirements, implementing these in database code. You will be tasked with creating and maintaining SQL queries and routines, working with complex data models, and producing intricate reports. Your ability to optimize, tune, and troubleshoot SQL code will be essential to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our database systems. This role is hybrid, based in either Pennington, NJ, or Pittsburgh, PA, and is expected to last between 6 to 12 months on a contract basis.
