About the position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Developer to support mission-critical database management and development. The ideal candidate will have experience in Oracle PL/SQL Development, Microsoft T-SQL Development, or both, along with a deep understanding of distributed database architecture.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL for software development, writing packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to enhance database functionality.
• Maintain an understanding of distributed database architecture, including the use of database links to optimize data accessibility and efficiency.
• Support database management activities, develop and deploy DB scripts to improve data quality, stability, and security, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Apply expertise in Oracle database performance and security, performing ongoing tuning to maintain data integrity and meet high standards.
• Define and create data structures, including schemas, tables, views, and indexes, to support business processes and data accessibility.

Requirements

• Must have active Secret clearance or above.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices using Jenkins, Git, etc.
• Demonstrated database software development experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft T-SQL, or both.
• Proficiency with database tools such as SQL Developer, SQL Plus, Toad, and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Strong experience in creating and deploying database scripts for data quality and maintenance.
• Proven expertise in Oracle database performance, integrity, and security.
