The Database Developer - Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Pendulum LLC will play a critical role in the operations and maintenance (O&M) of legacy databases and the development of new modern databases in alignment with the Organization's business data strategy. This position requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, emphasizing the importance of security and compliance in all development activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all modifications to existing applications and databases adhere to the Organization's security and architectural policies. The role involves providing support for deployment packaging, system maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure the sustainability and reliability of the Organization's systems and applications. The candidate will work on mission-critical systems that must operate without interruption and meet approved timelines for new development activities. Collaboration across organizational boundaries is essential, as the candidate will interact with various teams, including external stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and project success. In addition to technical skills, the candidate will need to demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to quality assurance in the development of solutions. The position requires a proactive approach to working with relational data tiers, including cleansing, transforming, and processing structured data, as well as developing and supporting applications using Java, JavaScript, and Python. Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, including RDS and S3, is also crucial for this role.
