CGI Federal is currently seeking Senior Database Developers with an active Top-Secret clearance to support a significant project for a federal government client. This role is based in Huntsville, AL, and involves designing and developing data architecture and ETL data flows to support enterprise risk management, analytics, and reporting. The successful candidates will provide production support from development teams for existing systems, troubleshoot data and/or system issues, and identify root causes to resolve data-related problems. In this position, you will be responsible for writing database PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. You will work closely with the DBA teams to ensure that all approved development and deployment procedures are adhered to. Additionally, you will implement and maintain the database design, create database objects such as tables and indexes, and assist team members, including Developers, QA, and DevOps, with database activities. Tuning database queries, troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks, as well as conducting system performance tests, will also be part of your responsibilities. Maintaining the security of all system applications is a critical aspect of this role.
