CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Database Developer with an active Top-Secret clearance to support a significant project for a federal government client. This role is crucial in designing and developing data architecture and ETL dataflows that are essential for enterprise risk management, analytics, and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing production support from development teams for existing systems, troubleshooting data and system issues, and identifying root causes to resolve data-related problems. This position is based in Huntsville, Alabama, and requires a strong commitment to maintaining the security of all system applications. In this role, you will be expected to write database PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers, ensuring that all approved development and deployment procedures are adhered to in collaboration with the DBA teams. You will implement and maintain the database design, create database objects such as tables and indexes, and assist team members, including Developers, QA, and DevOps, with various database activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for tuning database queries, troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks, as well as conducting system performance tests to ensure optimal functionality.
