About the position

The Database Developer position is focused on building and maintaining large-scale enterprise applications using Oracle technologies. The role requires strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, with responsibilities that include developing data models, creating and modifying database objects, and ensuring optimal performance of database processes. The position is based in Omaha, NE, and requires onsite presence five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Create and modify procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and SQL*Loader scripts.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, and database triggers.
• Create database tables and write triggers based on business rules.
• Debug defects related to business logic implementation.
• Perform performance tuning of programs and processes.
• Develop triggers and packages for session data management.

Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of experience in building large scale enterprise applications using Oracle.
• Expert knowledge in PL/SQL programming and SQL reporting.
• Experience in creating and modifying database objects such as procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and eagerness to learn.
