About the position

The Database Developer T-SQL role focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of efficient data flow and batch processes within applications. The position requires a strong foundation in T-SQL programming and a good understanding of relational databases, particularly Sybase and MSSQL. The developer will be responsible for implementing ETL processes and optimizing database performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement analysis and strategic analysis for database projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient data flow and batch processes in applications.
• Implement and test TSQL code and ETL processes.
• Optimize TSQL code for performance and efficiency.
• Utilize scripting languages such as Perl or Python for automation and data manipulation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in requirement analysis and strategic analysis.
• Strong knowledge of TSQL programming and relational databases like Sybase and MSSQL.
• Experience with ETL processes and performance tuning of TSQL code.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and Shell scripting.
