About the position

The Database Developer (Targeting Analyst) at V2X is responsible for developing and maintaining extensive databases to support research, development, and acquisition efforts focused on artificial intelligence applications relevant to U.S. Navy interests. This role involves utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel and Analyst's Notebook to parse information, establish relationships, and identify entities of interest. The position requires collaboration with internal and external analysts and participation in meetings to discuss findings and collection opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain databases using appropriate software programs that support RDA efforts.
• Discover and identify entities of interest to establish collection methods and develop networks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with offices and analysts internal and external to the Command.
• Attend bi-monthly meetings with Government lead to discuss findings and collection opportunities.
• Participate in production and workgroup meetings as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in National Security, Regional Studies, or relevant technical field (desired) OR High School Degree with 6+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Minimum one year of experience using Microsoft Office software programs.
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and translate science & technology (S&T) lexicon.
• Experience performing link/network analysis using applicable software programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with managed attribution systems, unclassified, and classified resources for research.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
