As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, as well as your experience with Tableau and COGNOS for reporting and presentation. You will develop and interface with Application Program Interfaces (APIs), perform testing and quality assurance of developed solutions, and work with relational data tiers to cleanse, transform, and process structured data. Additionally, you will be involved in developing and supporting applications using Java, JavaScript, and Python, and will need to demonstrate knowledge of Amazon Web Services environments, including RDS and S3. Responsibilities

  • Utilize Oracle and PostgreSQL databases for data management and development.
  • Develop and interface with Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
  • Perform testing and quality assurance of developed solutions within the existing Oracle data tier.
  • Create and modify data structures and data load routines for analytic use cases.
  • Work with relational data tiers, including cleansing, transforming, and processing structured data.
  • Develop and support applications using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Work with views, triggers, and Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Amazon Web Services environments, including RDS and S3.
  • Collaborate within an Agile project management model.

Requirements

  • Current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance is required.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Experience with Tableau and COGNOS for reporting presentation.
  • Experience developing and interfacing with APIs.
  • Experience performing testing and quality assurance of developed solutions.
  • Experience developing, creating, and modifying data structures for analytic use cases.
  • Experience working with relational data tiers, including data cleansing and transformation.
  • Experience developing applications using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Experience with views, triggers, and Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services/Cloud Data Migration Services.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
