As a Database Developer at NS2 Mission, you will play a crucial role in shaping the foundation of our information systems. This position requires a deep understanding of database management systems, data modeling, and a commitment to ensuring data integrity. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions that meet the needs of our organization. Your expertise will be essential in providing operational and maintenance support for production systems, ensuring that our databases are efficient, secure, and reliable. In this role, you will work with Oracle databases, creating and maintaining various components of the technology stack. You will also be involved in utilizing Oracle Text Search/Indexing and working with non-relational databases like NoSQL. Your responsibilities will include performing system analysis, cost calculations, and collaborating with front-end users to address their requirements and solve problems. You will have thorough experience in creating, modifying, and removing database design and data structures, as well as managing data permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring. Additionally, you will design and create database objects such as tables, indexes, views, keys, stored procedures, and statistics. Your technical design and development skills will be applied to create robust database programs. You will analyze existing databases and data needs to develop new database architecture and systems, ensuring that our data management practices are up to date and effective.
