About the position

The ETL SSIS Developer role is a contract to permanent employment opportunity focused on the development and maintenance of ETL applications and end-to-end systems, primarily utilizing SSIS and ASP.Net. This position requires hands-on experience with SQL Server and various testing tools, and it operates within a dynamic industry environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL applications using SSIS, ensuring efficient and accurate data transfer.
• Create and support end-to-end systems utilizing ASP.Net and JavaScript.
• Engage in hands-on work with SQL Server 2022 or versions 2016 and above.
• Conduct testing with tools such as Postman and SoapUI to ensure system functionality and reliability.
• Handle source controls with Git or similar tools.
• Utilize Agile tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira for project management.
• Develop familiarity with core banking systems and data warehousing solutions for potential usage.
• Utilize Business Intelligence tools, specifically Power BI, for data analysis and reporting.
• Maintain excellent organizational and analytical skills to handle complex data structures and systems.
• Communicate effectively, both in written and verbal form, to coordinate with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Developer or similar role
• Proficiency in cloud technologies
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) concepts
• Proven experience in preparing Business Requirement Documents
• Ability to create and manage dashboards
• Comprehensive knowledge in handling various data sources
• Proficiency with SSIS ETL processes
• Strong skills in ASP.NET
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
