About the position

The Database Developer role at Dexian involves developing IT asset management solutions to support public cloud solutions. The position requires a strong understanding of relational database modeling and hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development in 11g and 12c environments. The developer will analyze user requirements, translate them into database requirements, and implement them in database code, while also optimizing and troubleshooting SQL code.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT asset management solutions to support public cloud solutions.
• Maintain and develop new database features.
• Create tables and primary keys as part of database modeling.
• Write PL/SQL codes, procedures, and Oracle packages to support data transformation and loading.
• Optimize, tune, and troubleshoot SQL code.
• Work with complex data models and object relational database mapping to produce complex reports.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in database development and modeling.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development in 11g and 12c environments.
• Proven experience in writing packages and procedures.
• Ability to analyze user requirements and translate them into database requirements.
• Experience working in an agile environment and using JIRA tickets.
