About the position

The Database Developer position at Robert Half involves designing, building, and developing a new SQL server with a focus on creating the right database architecture. The role requires a strong SQL Server background and expertise in writing SQL code, aimed at developing new systems and ensuring data integrity and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement a SQL server for database management
• Generate a database schema based on application-related functions and data types
• Import existing data into the database
• Build a method for storing future database data
• Ensure internal quality control of imported data and ongoing analysis of data integrity
• Ensure security and integrity of the database, including scheduled backups
• Provide documentation and training to the database administrator
• Provide training to other users as necessary

Requirements

• B.S. degree or above in computer science or engineering
• 2+ years working as a database developer or in a related role
• Strong SQL expertise with the ability to write complex queries
• Knowledge and experience in fixing potential database issues
• Familiarity with industry standards for database operations
