About the position

The Database Developer position at iQuasar LLC involves providing operational and maintenance support for production systems, primarily focusing on Oracle databases and SQL. The role requires expertise in database design, management, and analysis, as well as experience with both relational and non-relational databases. The developer will work closely with front-end users to address requirements and problem-solve within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and maintenance support in a production system.
• Create and maintain Oracle database components of the technology stack.
• Perform system analysis and cost calculations.
• Manage database design and data structures, including creating, modifying, and removing database objects.
• Apply technical design and development skills to create database programs.
• Analyze existing databases and data needs to develop new database architecture and systems.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, and functions.
• Experience with Oracle databases and Oracle Text Search/Indexing.
• Experience with non-relational databases like NoSQL.
• Experience with operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
• Experience with application servers and IT management tools like DevOps.
• Experience in data management including permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Experience providing customer service and briefing technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in life cycle management processes for technology changes.
• Experience in obtaining Sponsor authentication and accreditation certification for sensitive data.
