We are currently seeking a skilled SQL Database Developer with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) experience to join our client's IT team in the Madison, WI area. The ideal candidate would possess an in-depth understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices along with hands-on experience with EDI standards and protocols. This position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite, and offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing database systems that meet the specific requirements of the organization. They will ensure data quality and integrity within the databases and will be responsible for identifying and resolving any performance issues that may arise. Additionally, the candidate will develop best practices for database design and development activities, creating complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development. Collaboration with application developers and architects will be essential to ensure a seamless flow and integrity of data, particularly in relation to EDI data integration with multiple external partners. The role also involves analyzing, testing, and supporting all EDI-related configuration changes, as well as assisting in the design and enhancement of new EDI applications.
