About the position

The Database Developer role involves providing analysis, development, and programming support for various systems, particularly focusing on state government public and traffic safety systems. The position requires extensive experience in database management, programming languages, and system integration, with a strong emphasis on communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and development/programming using JPA/Hibernate, Maven, XML, and Junit or similar testing applications.
• Write and test SQL statements in Oracle database.
• Develop and integrate SOAP/REST Web services.
• Support incident and production issues related to state government public and traffic safety systems.
• Mentor other developers on Power Automate and PowerApps or new programming languages or frameworks.
• Collaborate with different agencies including government and private vendors.

Requirements

• Five years of experience with JPA/Hibernate, Maven, XML, Junit or similar testing applications.
• Five years of experience with Oracle database and writing/testing SQL statements.
• Four years of experience working with state government public and traffic safety systems.
• Four years of experience providing incident and production support.
• Four years of experience in JAVA, .NET, or C# development.
• Demonstrated understanding of core systems and experience with criminal justice data network (CJDN) applications.
• Experience in system integration and broad experience in architecture, design, business analysis, development, quality assurance, project management, and system support.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in team settings.
