Responsibilities

• Develop, design, test, and implement complex database programs using Oracle or MySQL and third-party tools (TOAD, SQL Developer, etc.)
• Build scalable, fault tolerant applications
• Prepare technical correspondence for internal and external use
• Define, document, and execute unit test cases to confirm requirements are met
• Provide subject matter expertise in support of reports technical activities
• Develop ETL processes with Oracle/MySQL Integration Services
• Configure and tune databases for high throughput

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field
• 5 years of experience in data engineering, and consuming, transforming and loading data into production databases/data warehouses
• 3 years of experience in SQL and RDBMSs, MySQL, Oracle, Hive and Amazon Redshift
• 2 years of experience in programming knowledge with Python
• 2 years of experience in Linux command-line operation and scripting
• 2 years of experience in relational modeling
