About the position

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain our database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating efficient ETL pipelines and data integration processes, ensuring high-quality data management and accessibility for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases.
• Create and manage ETL pipelines for data processing and integration.
• Implement data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
• Write and optimize T-SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting.
• Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Document database structures, processes, and solutions for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Strong expertise in ETL pipeline design and development.
• Experience in data integration techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts and practices.
• Knowledge of Python and Azure is a plus.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is desirable.
• Understanding of Data Marts and the Kimball methodology is preferred.
• Familiarity with BI Reporting tools and HL7 data feeds is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using JIRA, Confluence, Visual Studio, and Bitbucket for project management and version control.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Python and Azure is a plus.
