CGI Federal is currently seeking Database Developers with an active Top-Secret clearance to support a significant project for a federal government client. The role involves designing and developing data architecture and ETL dataflow to enhance enterprise risk management, analytics, and reporting capabilities. The Database Developers will also provide production support for existing systems, troubleshoot data and system issues, and identify root causes to resolve data-related challenges. This position is based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing Pega BPM applications, writing database PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers, and implementing and maintaining the database design. You will create database objects such as tables and indexes, assist team members including Developers, QA, and DevOps with database activities, and tune database queries for optimal performance. Additionally, you will troubleshoot application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks, conduct system performance tests, and maintain the security of all system applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and a proven track record of working with various technologies including Vue.js, .NET, Postgres, and Oracle DB. Experience with AWS CloudFormation and maintenance of geospatial applications such as ESRI ArcGIS and Geoserver is also essential. You will be expected to manage quarterly OpenStreetMap refresh and deployment, work with MongoDB, and develop ElasticSearch geospatial repositories while ensuring performance tuning and data accuracy.
