About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in T-SQL and a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining complex database solutions. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement database solutions, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and other techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data integrity problems.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
• Write clear and concise documentation for database objects and processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest database technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in database development, with a strong focus on T-SQL.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex database solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, normalization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with C# programming language.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform and database services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics).
• Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
• Experience with data security and compliance best practices.
